Welcome to Refined Resumes LLC and thanks for visiting. By accessing this site, you are agreeing to these terms, so please read them carefully.

The following Terms of Service is a legal contract between an individual user and Refined Resumes LLC regarding the use of this website and services.

Using this Site
You may use this site and services only as permitted by law. I may suspend or terminate your access if you don’t comply with the policies or if I am investigating alleged misconduct.

Communications
I may send you announcements and other important information in connection with your use of my site. You may opt-out of some of these communications at any time.

Privacy Protection
See the Privacy Policy (below) regarding how I handle your personal information and protect your private data when you use the site and services.

PROJECT AGREEMENT

Purpose

The Purpose of this Project Agreement is to set forth the terms and conditions under which Refined Resumes LLC (The Company) and the Client will agree.

Whereas, Client hereby hires the service of The Company to provide a custom-made resume and/or other related services included in the purchased resume writing package. And that this Agreement shall be effective on the date the Client purchases a package.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises herein contained, the parties agree as follows:

Payment Terms

If you would like to create a resume, payment will be due before the client onboarding packet is sent or after the free consultation.

If you would like LinkedIn Optimization, payment will be due before the live session.

No additional sums, amounts, monies, or charges upon signup and within the required process.

Clients can make payments through PayPal.

Receipt on all payments made will be sent to the client via email, and Refined Resumes LLC shall be reflected as the payment processor.

Prices are all presented in US dollars. Clients must pay in US dollars, regardless of location.

The Client understands that no portion of the payment made is refundable unless, otherwise, for cause(s) validated by The Company.

Project Delivery

Unless special arrangements are made, the turnaround time for the initial resume and cover letter draft of each package shall be as follows:

* The time it takes to complete a resume is dependent on client communication, the professional level of the client, and the amount of information provided/needed for the resume.

Turnaround time shall start after the customer discovery call and not on the date the Client has signed up.

Expiration and Reactivation

All unstarted projects expire 2 weeks from start date.

All unfinished projects expire
3 weeks from start date.

For unstarted projects, if a request for reactivation is made beyond the expiration date, the Client must pay a fee of $30. This will then signify the start of the project.

For unfinished projects, if a request for reactivation is made beyond the expiration date, the Client must pay a fee of $30. This will then signify the continuation of the project.

Whereas, if the project has already expired for 1 month or more, the Client should purchase a new package because the content and format of the previous resume and cover letter may be obsolete as of now.

The Company reserves the right to “fire” a client in the case of non-compliance with outlined processes or in the case that an unstarted/unfinished project has expired for 2+ months.

“Firing” a client refers to The Company cancelling a project with a client.

Revisions

The company offers an unlimited number of revisions to unfinished projects within 2 weeks until the client fully approves a resume and cover letter copy.

Revision refers to the modification of resume and cover letter content targeted to the objective mentioned by the Client in the consultation. Changing the objective during the revision process is not allowed; hence, the Client needs to purchase an additional resume package for the new target job.

Revision’s turnaround time will depend on the responsiveness of the client and the availability of writers (Mondays through Fridays, excluding weekends and holidays).

Resume Updates
The company offers free resume updates to finalized projects within 2 months from the start date.

A lack of response from the client after 30 days indicates a completed/finalized project.

Resume updates refer to minor change, addition, or removal of resume content, such as contact information, address, and latest job position and responsibilities.

A minimal fee of $10 for the resume update will be charged to the Client if the project has already expired.

If the project has already expired for 2 months or more, the Client should purchase a new package because the content and format of the previous resume may be obsolete as of now.

Privacy

I am committed to protecting the privacy of all my clients.

All information received from or provided by the clients is strictly for the use of Refined Resumes LLC and will not be shared with any third party without your consent.

I only ask for information necessary in creating a resume and cover letter draft tailor-made for the client.

Services

The Company shall use the standard American English in all its writing services.

The Company renders the following services:

– Writing and formatting of the resume draft.

– Writing and formatting of the cover letter draft.

– LinkedIn optimization sessions.

– Revision of the initial draft, if there be any, until Client approves the final copy.

– Preparation of the final resume copy and other resume package inclusions following the approval of the initial resume draft.

Refunds

The Company shall not honor any request for refund made by Client over a phone conversation; thus, the Client shall inform The Company of such request through writing.

The Company grants a full refund for orders canceled within 24 hours upon signing up. After the 24-hour period, the project is considered commenced.

If the Client has decided to cancel the project after the 24-hour period and the project has not begun, the Client shall receive only 90% of the amount of the purchased resume package. 10% shall serve as an administrative fee.

If the Client has decided to cancel the service following the sending of the initial resume draft, The Company shall refund only 40% of the amount of the purchased resume package.

The Client shall receive only 20% of the amount of the purchased resume package when an initial draft was sent and one to two complete revisions are made before the cancellation of service.

If the Client paid for the rush service, the fee shall not be refunded when the service was delivered on or before the due date.

Fees for rush services are non-refundable.

In cases when a refund is being requested by Client, but the resume has been revised more than 4 times already, request for refund will not be granted, as The Company assumes that Client is pleased with the resume copy and intends to proceed with the finalization and completion of the purchased resume package.

Any percentage of refund shall not take effect if:
The Client approved the resume draft per email or text exchange with resume writer or members of The Company.
The project has been terminated for reasons unrelated to the services of The Company.
The Company does not hear from the Client for more than 30 days.
The project was started over 2 months ago.

In the case that a client has be “fired” according to the criteria outlined in the Expiration and Reactivation section, the “fired” client will receive a partial refund according to the following:

– 30% refund if client resume has been re-formatted with no consideration for textual edits.

– 10% refund if client resume has been re-formatted and given edits to existing text.

Final Document

Full, upfront payment is required for all services requested. By purchasing a Refined Resumes LLC package, you forfeit payment for the charges of the products and services specified above, along with anything requested and approved verbally or written by the client during the progression of the relationship.
Refined Resumes LLC provides a satisfaction policy on formatting and written material; if you’re not satisfied with any portion of the resume, a revision/update will be provided at no additional charge within the prescribed time period.
The client is responsible for proofreading all material to ensure accuracy, completeness, punctuation, and grammar.
A lack of response from the client, after 30 days, indicates a completed/finalized project; additional charges will be incurred for updates received after a 2 month time period.
Written content is copyrighted by Refined Resumes LLC, therefore, the client has limited rights to the final document so written content cannot be given away, transferred, or used in any media without written consent from the author.

By purchasing resume services from Refined Resumes LLC, the Client agrees to and understands the aforementioned items.
